Not. 3 days of FrontPage yeh thats long enough to get me lots of view! The goal of an animator is to expose your work to as many people as possible. I would have been happy with a week of frontpage. I would have been satisfied. What is bullshit is that when I make a sprite movie that is better than that MarioBall Z crap, he gets frontpage for months, getting 1million views +, I get frontpage for 3 days, and get 53,000 views+. Go figure. The Collab that replaced PowerStar 4 on the frontpage was good, but there was other sutff that could have been taked down to make room. Fuck i'm pissed. Your thoughts?

Your seriously complaining because you got front page for 3 days.
Granted, your movie was, in my opinion, wayyyy better then all of the SMBZ combined, but still, there are alot of movies that dont get exposure, and are as just as good as yours. So the fact that you got front paged, for however little time it was means that a site admin liked it enough to put it there.
Btw, as im writing this, its on the front page. So maybe they were just reorganizing it? Or maybe your whining put it back there =).
P.S. Power Star 4 was great, but 4.5 takes the cake.

wow, i cant believe someone like you would actually bitch about not having enough time on frontpage. you should be so lucky to have your shit on the front page period. not only that, but dissing someone else's work is just not right. you can't just say "hey tom, my work is better than anything so put it on the front page plz", that's really not fair to other people. besides, i really hated power star 4's ending.
Believe me...I definitely think Power Star 4 is way better than Super Mario Bros Z. The front page is just a big popularity contest. SMBZ probably has a bigger fanbase because of how it appeals to Mario fans, Sonic fans, sprite lovers, and DBZ fans. Your movies probably don't get that kind of hype because they don't appeal to as many of these groups. Take the animator Egoraptor for example. He has such a huge fanbase that he can post a 40 second videogame parody on Newgrounds and have it frontpaged for months and placed in the top 50 column. (No disrespect towards Egoraptor. I think he's an awesome animator and I acknowledge that he worked hard to earn those fans) Now don't let that upset you! You also have to consider the declining popularity of sprite movies. That kinda worked against you too. Your movie was awesome, and a lot of other people think so too. It's not the number of people you appeal to that's important, it's the quality of your work that matters most.

Cha0szero and i work as much as we can on Sonic Next and some people say it's like Super Smash Bros Z, all i can think is: HELL NO, we work hard for it to be unique and you go comparing it to his work? he made one decent series and now it's "the best thing ever" i can't stand i just can't, anyway i'm sorry if i made a short rant. it's just that it makes me so mad too and i thought speaking with someone that understands like us could make me feel and better.
